The names are similar, and there was a big deal made about a tr*** in the cast, but no one made it clear who at the time, that many could have made your mistake.

You are VERY much mistaken! The woman you speak of is CAROLine Cossey aka Tula. She was one of the girls by the pool. Bond never slept with her in the movie. The mistake is understandable though. CAROLE Bouquet is the WOMAN in the middle picture.
