FYI, China is officially Athiest, but they allow 4 religions. You don't hear prayers outside of the touristed-up temples, although Christianity is gaining ground.

Is there a controversy about that issue in the USA?? I'm an atheist, but I don't care if anyone wants to pray. It's all about respecting each other. Shouldn't be discussed in a free world. 5 prayers to every existing god

Yep there's a controversy. Atheists using the 1st amendment of our Constitution to force their atheist views on others. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

All they see is the "no law respecting an establishment of religion" and they ignore the "prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

Very well written and generally well argued, but in a state school with compulsory attendance where the "christians" can decide to kick the sh*t out of the runty little atheist who doesn't bow...there's an argument in the other direction, too.
