We have, and he's STILL the worst ever. He tops out Carter's ineffectiveness, and Nixon's corruption. Hell, many consider him worse than Stalin or Hitler, even by many Republicans today!

Yeah, at least Jimmy Carter has becoem our best former president; the man puts his back into his ideals, builds houses for the homeless, writes eloquently, and plays diplomat. Even if I don't agree with his philosophies, I respect his sincerity.

George W. ... "Maybe not the worst president ever! ... maybe." A ringing endorsement if there ever was one. But the short answer to your question remains: nope.

Ladies and gentleman; do you not remember the hypocrisy of our 3rd president: Mr. Thomas Jefferson? How about the scandal around John Quincy Adams victory over Andrew Jackson? Or perhaps the Impeachment of Andrew Johnson?

yea, Jimmy plays diplomat. The problem is he talks in the name of the US when he has absolutely NO authority to do so!! He also let those people stay hostages in Iran instead of saying: F-you. let them go or be prepared to glow in the dark a**holes.

At least *President* Carter was elected President. *Governor* Bush was appointed, both times.

Worse than Stalin and Hitler? I know you guys hate him, but don't you think that is a little overboard?

zed... seriously? still?? I am guessing you are referring to the Supreme Court in Florida in 2000? c'mon.. seriously? all they did was look at Florida's election law, and whether they had followed their own rules, and determined no more recounts had t

At least Carter was a nice guy. He tried to avoid war, where as Bush ordered our mans to charge in head first.

They recounted over and over and the democrats still couldn't cheat the election in 2000. Also the 2004 election doesn't apply at all because he won both the popular and electoral. He won its history, get a life. Crying about it now makes you a b****.

On topic with the post, Carter should have taken a stand but didn't. Bush took a stand but did it all over the place. Both men did what they thought was right, even though by doing it they took a hit to their public standing. You all demonized Bush -

for trying to defend you, and your right to b**** about him. Bush tried to help the economy but in its state nothing government done would help. The mainstream media downplayed any benefit Bush brought and overplayed faults to fictitious levels.

Well said, TX. Carter left a worse economic downturn for Reagan but he never whined that he "inherited this mess". He fixed it with tax cuts for all. Mark pointed me to a Youtube video that is worth watching on the topic: ...

Someone e-mailed a 1999 NY Times article to me today. I turned it into a poster about Liberal Kool-Aid promoting memory loss. I was hoping it would make it out of the approval line tonight but so far no luck. It tells who is really to blame for this mess.
Mark - March 5, 2009, 12:52 am,
I just checked the approval line and the two posters I submitted were not there. Nor are they UnRated or in the Incubator. No reason they shouldn't have been approved. No skin or bad language. I've resubmitted them.
