the fun part is that the ones like that have a problem with God are the problem
Budog - March 26, 2012, 3:30 pm,
Maybe it is the zealots who have a problem with those who choose a different belief system or point of view are the real problem...

To be fair, tolerance, knowledge, and free will are against the religion
tomyironmane - July 27, 2013, 10:55 am,
The people who think that really never read the manual. I find if you look enough at the universe, it makes it hard not to believe in a higher power. Though I have to commend the poster for mocking a religion that won't try to murder him for making funny.
Renza - July 27, 2013, 2:44 pm,
that's crazy talk, the manual is all about how those things are evil or "sins" as they like to call them, it's also really big on talking about how you should kill the people that disagree or blaspheme (or make jokes) about the religion.

Wrong building... THAT one has minarets. The one with the steeple says if you do that you're being a ***k and you need to stop.

To paraphrase Shakespeare in a way applicable to this... "a steaming pile by any other name..." Also, I'm pretty sure buildings don't talk, usually just the hateful uneducated nutjobs within them.

Um, the entire concept of sin is based on free will. A sin has to be a willing act. Free will is the enemy if Government. Ignorance is sn excuse for sin, but not for the law. Who us oppressive now?
Renza - September 4, 2013, 10:59 pm,
I'm pretty sure your first sentence says it all, sin is based on free will, therefore the use of free will is a sin, so that means free will is against the religion. Also, sin applies to the degree of thoughts, laws don't (yet).
steve1961 - September 5, 2013, 4:01 am,
Sin is not based on free will. Free will allows us the choice to sin or not. Having free will doesn't make one sinful. You can also choose to be good. Is Godliness also based on Free Will then too?
Renza - September 5, 2013, 4:18 am,
Sure it is, if you choose not to obey (aka using free will) you are sinning. Godliness I'd say is probably just based on human desire to have a higher power watching over them or the need to have the unexplainable explained.
steve1961 - September 5, 2013, 2:23 pm,
By Godliness, I mean to not just not sin but to do good works. We also have free will to do that. eg. Prevent a crime, help someone etc.

Well, I’m kinda anxious to see what you guys settle on as far as what ‘sin’ is….sounds like fun…there s/be a city named after the word…with gambling….and whorres…and tons of secs….day and night.
GaryO - September 5, 2013, 8:55 pm,
I do help folks, but whenever I do, the word ‘abet’ is usually in the sentence. OK, serious. If you have the intellect of room temperature, and feel the need for somebody to tell you how to think, you should just practice being nice.
GaryO - September 5, 2013, 8:56 pm,
……or listen to that little voice. It’s probably Jesus…or if yer batshyt crazy, it’s just Charles Manson sounding like Jesus. Either one, you’ll eventually end up where you belong.

Is that the church from the Kingsman movie? The caption makes especially good sense if so.
