The problem with the fur industry is that unlike leather, it's the only thing the animal is raised and killed for. The rest goes to waste.

And all fur is used for is for appearance. Leather is more functional, including but not limited to protection from wind and road rash.

I hear ya, Sho. I have good friends that are trappers during certain seasons. But I just don’t understand how these nice folk can rest easy knowing their traps inflict cruel pain and agony for days, for a few extra bucks.

So, When a subsistence hunter kills an animal and uses the fur to stay warm or dry he's a bad guy? Animals are here for our use, If we farm them at least we're not risking their extinction.
