Yer not alone. Not a big fan of the genre, but the guy had a voice. No strain. And when some genius put him and Bing together (another natural), well...it showed

I can't say I thought much of Bing's voice either, not when compared to Otis, Aretha, and oh so many others. Elvis was the refutation of everything "Bing"!

No argument. I just appreciate good singing voices, as I tend to replicate the last utterances of an aged diseased yak when attempting to take advantage of shower acoustics.

Funny you should say that, for Billy Idol did "To Be a Lover" as tribute to Elvis' influence on him... Thou Billy's singing sounds like Bing, while he's trying to look ***y like Sting did in the day.
