Who would try to compare a .22 and a .45? Now if you want to debate 9mm vs .45 then feel free to beat a dead horse.

The 1st Thompson submachine gun used .22 LRs. Later they used a .45 pistol bullet. Even later they went back to a 22 with a laser because it could pour out a lot of lead and was very controllable. 22s ain't for pansies; they're for people who can shoot.
