Why would Anne Frank write her day timer in the past tense? Ohhhhh, man, she must have been such a pessimist. Or, maybe, given the need to hide quickly, she simply had no time to write out all those e's.

Oh Sean, I had to use daytimer since diary has been used... but diary would be more appropriate.. and if you want to be literal, she was Dutch, so she would have written verbergen, and she was captured in Aug of 43.. but facts always kill humor..

Well slap my face and call me "Susan" ... ok, you can forget about the "Susan" part. Unlike my usual attempt to be a full bore buzz-kill, this was more the annoying "look I got yer nose" variety. Great come-back. But what happens if I pull your finger?
Airman - May 27, 2009, 1:35 pm,
I pull out my daytimer

Anne Frank was captured on Friday, August 4, 1944. 1944... Definitely 1944!
