yeah... lets just invade another country and steal their oil. again.
American Conservative - May 20, 2008, 11:58 pm,
How about we drill for oil IN AMERICA! But besides that point, all of your hate-mongering doesn't change the fact that America has taken NO OIL from any country. It is still cute when worthless scum thinks that it has an opinion, thanks for the laugh!

Conservative, way to be an idiot. I'd say you're not allowed to pollute the internet with your stupid, but I can't enforce that, so I'll just say that you don't count as a person.

Wow... and to think... it's the 22% of MY paycheck that bought YOUR foodstamps this week. You're welcome!
nick - July 10, 2008, 8:59 am,
Regarding how blatantly ignorant and obnoxious you are, I'm absolutely sure you don't even get a paycheck, so stfu.
nick - July 10, 2008, 9:00 am,
And btw, the US didn't take the foreign oil, its MNCs did. So again, stfu you ignorant fool.

I'm gonna hafta go with.. Stop being passive aggressive pricks. It's the internet, not the pub. Instead of the billions going into 'new fuel' for combustion. Find a new path. A new way to utilize energy, and then USE IT.
Zed - August 14, 2008, 1:13 pm,
Drilling for oil "in America" would have absolutely NO EFFECT, since all oil from American wells goes directly into the World Oil Exchange where other countries bid on it. Learn some Economics.
Belisarius - September 27, 2008, 12:25 am,
Zed - think this one thru. It doesn't matter where the oil goes. More oil, lower prices (supply and demand), and the economy doesn't crash.
Zed - October 23, 2008, 9:57 am,
Belisarius, you're not thinking it through. it doesn't matter how much oil there actually is, because the price can be artificially driven up by a bidding war. And don't toss out that "Supply and demand" bull**** when the oil companies have reported RECOR

And don't toss out that "Supply and demand" bull**** when the oil companies have reported RECORD PROFITS the last two years of skyrocketing prices.
barockeva - December 12, 2008, 10:26 am,
When demand goes down, OPEC lowers production to keep prices up!
manicbranic - March 4, 2009, 3:43 pm,
Neither OPEC nor the oil companies owes anyone any charity. It's their oil. They can charge what they want or produce how much they want. If we want to drive, we'll pay for it.

Since when does our use of corn to make fuel have anything to do with people living in a place where they can't grow their own FOOD. We are not obligated to sell our corn overseas, so it matters not one whit whether we use it for fuel or not.

What's insensitive about using what we produce in this country for our own purposes? I'll tell you what's more insensitive - artificially keeping people living on land that cannot support them. That's just perpetuating their misery. THAT'S insensitive.
Lolzer - August 18, 2009, 4:25 am,
Even though most environmentalists don't want to use corn as biomass because of it's inefficiency
