On a full-sized Apple keyboard, the help key was labelled simply as "Help", located to the left of the home key.

Judging from the color and size of the "Help" and "Control" (not "CTRL") b***ons, I'd say those keys came from an old Atari "ST" series keyboard, which had a "Help" key and fully labeled "Control" key. A valid ad for the late 1980's.

Children are not old enough to remember help keys. This was back when TV's had no remotes.

bull.. TV remotes exists since the '70.. so that would make these keys part of keyboards to (IBM) mainframe terminals
