here’s the problem with that if u actually pay attention Edison stole most of the things he is famous for doing

Yes. but don't confuse our patchy understanding of the potted history we were given with... with... facts!
angryceltic - December 2, 2009, 2:22 am,
what people should really be looking at is Nicole Tesla’s work he was crazy smart
Fatt Matt - December 2, 2009, 11:44 am,
No way. Tesla sucked... Signs was their biggest hit and it was a cover, and it still sucked.
angryceltic - December 2, 2009, 3:37 pm,
do you even know who Tesla was

Fatt Matt - December 2, 2009, 3:48 pm,

Wiki says he was an avid cross-dresser and had a funny haircut. He was beat up a lot as a child so he tried to build robots that would electrocute his enemies.

I think he invented the Tesla chainsaw as well. It really cut into Black Sabbath CD sales...
TheTrashHeap - December 2, 2009, 6:16 pm,
Tesla was a madman who died penniless. Like most "geniuses".
Zed - December 2, 2009, 7:44 pm,
Yeah, but everything he ever built WORKED. That's better than 99 percent of most "madmen".
TheTrashHeap - December 2, 2009, 8:04 pm,
What about the machine that could split the world in two by vibration? It didn't work.
angryceltic - December 2, 2009, 9:56 pm,
thats because he never actualy made it to the proper scale
TheTrashHeap - December 2, 2009, 10:15 pm,
Yes he did. full size it could be carried by a man. He claimed to have caused an earthquake with it. And what about the death ray? That never worked either. I'm not saying he wasn't a genius, just that he was also a nut.
