Couldn't say on that one, what have you heard about it?

My stubborn ass opinion is still with full Grammar and correct spelling, even if it requires research beforehand. Reason for my stubbornness is that children today are losing their discipline as quick as they will curse at their parents or think everything belongs to them. Giving them their way and not correcting them on the simplest of spelling and grammar errors, vocabulary and understanding what they are saying is incorrect is like giving them the reigns of the cart and saying drive this thing into the ground. Basic structure is a must, I wouldn't want a secretary one day that types a company e-mail and uses such B-S language that a teenager can hardly understand it. Yes I might be senile in this case, but for godsake if I made a mistake in spelling back in the day I'd have gotten a scowling... nowadays I have seen Grade 12 EXAMS... that consisted of 'ths tpe of lnguage tht dos nt cpitliz or evn mke ny sens' what is this world coming to when Exams are being completed in such shite?

One of the best compliments I could ever get. Thank you Gary, I really appreciate that.

And now to keep on topic: How's the weather?

funny you should ask because it rained here last night (Hard, Like lightning, thunder, and a river flowing down the street) and for some reason my wife forgot to roll the windows up in both our car and truck. I've just now crawled out of bed, should I be angry?

No... earthly possessions, they will dry out eventually, let them drain, put the A/C on full blast for about 10-30 minutes, all's better... Won't you agree?

Yeah, I see what you mean. I don't usually get angry at her unless she's angry at me. And you're right, things are just things.

I totally agree with you about full grammar. Things like FYI and LOL IMO (lol, fyi that's In My Opinion) are used sometimes verbally therefore are ok in moderation. But when you're shorting or abbreviating every word in the sentence it just looks like gibberish. Where does it end?

I try not to abuse those (lol,FYIetc.) but my fragile female hands have such a hard time typing long words (pouty face and a wink). So would you be offended if I passed along FYI that IMO I lol at that sir?

And anyhow, you then have something to do together to get even closer than before (As if you weren't before) I know it's a rant, and you can skip this paragraph, but something I have full guilt in is in relationships between husband and wife, mom and child, friends, the list keeps on going, Action leads to reaction, if you're angry, that's all good, but don't take it out on the person you love, yes you feel like you can't control yourself, but in the case you feel stress building up, even if coming home from work and you're pissed, sit down, talk about it, don't argue, the best relationships I knew, the best days, the best evenings... ended in a dispute that can have been stopped in the first place, this, again, is in general, not targeted directly to you, but it does pain me to see people fighting. and over the smallest shite ever. People focus too much on the bad part of everything, it rains: I'm going to get wet - Someone honks at you in traffic: Oh fcuk off, I'm right you're wrong - etc... When it rains, say thanks, that's less time you need to spend in the garden watering it. If someone honks at you, smile and wave, greet them, show them you're happy... (That pisses off a whole lot of people  ) Anyway...

Well those are acronyms, not words, each letter is a word, but I do loathe the people that use 'lol' at the beginning and end of the sentence, no matter how little they actually need it to add meaning to the sentence, and yes, I was very... VERY guilty to that not too long ago, I men go back a few hundred posts in my history on this site and you'll see it happening all over. I do, however, 'allow' (for lack of a better word) the use of acronyms, they are things even I use... But as you said: Moderation is key i that. Gibberish it does look like and just to keep the topic as random and 'on topic' as I can... Who has skype?? seeing as I had the program installed on my laptop since I bought it and is now a seasoned veteran of 2 video calls and currently talking to a friend of mine in Alaska!

Dammit... Did you know I blabbed on after asking the question and that this is an edit??
