I draw up an extremely detailed topographical map of the hill & surrounding area,
complete with distances above sea level, satellite infrared soil composition readings,
and time erosion projections, thus confusing the hell out of spy til his head explodes.

I worked with 2 Scots, had another for an OIM... and even more crew members as Scots than you can shake a stick at... thus... I am now Scottish as well... That part o yours:

One cannot simply be Scottish unless he has abseiled a crag while drunk in the evening while in a kilt with a mate playing the bagpipes in the background...

He hehe... I remembered just as soon as I had pressed submit what your job is...

(Nice one)

I gather my gear and get my rope (or what's left of it) and make a Monkey's Fist knot on one of the ends (as painful to you as the name suggests) and use it as a mace and throw the knot in your direction... you dodge and think it's all still good and well, but then look around to see the rope being yanked back towards me and sending the knot square into your temple... lights out brethren...
