I think "Port", "Starboard" & "Look out, there's a horny gay man behind you" are sufficient commands to captain a ship...

"Sail forth without crashing into massive chunks of ice" also probably helps...

Well, technically its not that simple: bow, stern, port and starboard are merely: the front, rear, left and right of a ship (respectively) knowing how to sail a ship, large vessels, not these mesely fcuks that have a 30ft yaght and think they're a skipper, correctly is quite a task
