I have GTA, GTA London 1969, GTA 2, GTA San Andreas. I have played GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA liberty city stories (I think it's that one), but never played saints row though

(I feel compelled to point out GTA San Andreas & Vice City are actually both 2 variants of GTA 3. San Andreas was more of an updated version of Vice City...)

Well the gameplay of the GTA range took off with 3 and rhe 3rd person perspective on things, but the difficult to give between those 'fave' award goes to GTA2

And yes, vice city was updated version of 3, but I still want to point out the accute difference in san andreas, being the whole new look to the game, and characters. However, having said that; isn't it that, that makes the GTA range so addictingly good?

That's the thing... Despite the latest GTA 4 Liberty Stories & all, my fave of all time would still be San Andreas... That was the beginning of real/serious gaming for me... Lack of time is still a pain in the rectum, though...

Which is exactly why I included it in my question. Sometimes the absurdity of a game where one can wield a giant purple dildo to vanquish thine enemies slowly & VERY painfully.

It's one hell of an alternate to ever grace gaming shelves featuring sheer & utter lunacy... Because everyone knows deep down that they too want to wield a similar sized dildo through one's neighbourhood...

San andreas is the best one since 3... I still prefer that arcade game feel thoughoh and don't forget about the massive survivable drop and the foot long vibrators. the retarded. police. that will kill you if you shoot a firearm, but they will allow someone else to shoot them... sometimes even running away...

I proffer sand box shooters over normal shooters
more tactics involved and almost every thing is different no matter where you are
