Sorry, rerun, looks like the first entry (after yours) is gonna be a bit serious.

I have a fear of;
Dying before my mate does.
I just don’t think she’d handle the loneliness as well as I.
Not that I’m any great shakes, satiating her life with splendor and fond fulfillment, but she fills the massive voids in my character, and seems to delight in doing so, and I love every fiber of her being…been that way 44 years next month.

I have a fear of;
Outliving my usefulness.
I do not want to be like my father, drooling words of appreciation at my 89th birthday.

So-o-o, I’m on two freight trains….heading opposite directions….toward each other.
Not sure which one will arrive at the station first, but if it’s not to my likin’, I’m pushin’ the throttle forward an meetin’ up with that other train I’m on.

As for now, I’m really enjoying the rides.
