Talk about whatever....

Has anyone used photos they've taken for their poster?

Postby LeightonESmith » Sun Jun 17, 2012 11:40 pm

I've managed to have a couple of photos of myself and my friends accepted as motifake posters. Its pretty cool when you can build your motifake from "scratch" so to speak....
Anyone else do the same? Any links to those pics?

hell I don't know .. lol .. I thought perhaps a quip in the tips & tricks section might help ... nobody said anything to me though. We are discouraged from posting personal pics though right? I'm correct on that aren't I?

That's a weird Grey area. Usually I reject a personal pic because the submitter posted it with little to no text with the intent to make a poster for his own use.

I can't see any reason that a relevant personal pic cannot be used. I've used some myself.

That's a question for Mr.M.

(If it's relevant we see no reason why it would be denied) (besides how would anybody know if it's a personall pic or not)

as long as the image is safe for work and not copyright protected (or site tag) it can be used. Generally we don't like to see personal pictures, sometimes using a friends image can cause relationship problems.

I will have to think long and hard to figure out if I actually used a picture that I took...

Hmmm... 'thinking'... not something I want to do at this stage...
