OK, favorite movie actor threads have been done on web sites to the point of hurling in our mouths, but I thumbed a few pages here and didn’t find that subject to be thread specific.
So, unless someone knows of such a thread here, let’s lay down our faves.
(Hey, like a good poster, acting is a part of the arts...and I'm not gay...even though gayness is also part of the arts...)
The only twist (not compulsory, BTW) is a strong suggestion to make it a bit, or supporting actor.
Those are the ones that you see in every other movie but have no idea what their name is….or you do, but you’re the odd one.
However, you either love to love them, or love to hate them, because they are that good, and a tad unsung….no, or few awards or nominations.
…..and the term ‘actor’ is no longer gender specific
Mine
Strother Martin

Yeah, he’s probably best known for the lines ‘What we have here….is a failure….to communicate' (‘to communicate’ spoken at a quicker pace after the hesitation)….I wonder how many times he recited that line….
But my very favorite roll I enjoyed him in was Bowen in the Ballad of Cable Hogue.
I used to enjoy hating him, slimy little bastard, but learned to love him for his craft.
I would have really enjoyed a one on one chat.
