So only a noob and already have hit a creative block. I look at a pic and nothing. I get an idea in my head, search for a pic and then nothing. Or I see the other entries and feel that what is in my head won't meet the standard. Woe as me! Suggestions on how to get past this?

Do what I do.... don't! Better to give ypourself a break or only post sporadically than feeling like you MUST make posters which then come out with low quality or, at the very least, you're not happy with.

Go look at image dumps if you're having major trouble, try clicking through random pages in the poster fodder thread.

I have the same problem. And I usually take Jammy's advice and just do nothing. I don't keep up too well with current events either so things like "bath salts" go over my head. (I'm just now learning wtf that was in reference to, so there's some roast fodder for you. )

(what we do when this happens is we just look at image sites on the internet and just click random photos) (that's just what Jammy said, your stealing his ideas) (shhhh, but yeah, the poster fodder thread here is pretty good too)

Well thanks folks. I did just that and it kicked my arse back into place. But now saved so many pics that'll probably forget what I thought the pic was good for. Oh this is a never ending dilema......

I have a folder where I save pictures which I think can use to make posters with. Also have a lot of posters which I haven't uploaded yet cuz they are still not good enough. Just relax, give your mind some time to come up with something good. Don't rush or you will end up trying too much random things
