Greeny, did you get the stain out of the carpet?

I work with animals at a vet hospital and you would not believe the stuff they'll put in their mouths. Greeny got off lucky. At least it was kinda like food...

There was a very huge arguement on who was going to pick it up.

Thankfully the dog did.

Dog Days

Once I was doing some wiring in a friends vet clinic - I was up on a ladder overlooking a huge dog proned out in the corner, it had all kinds of tubes & bottles hooked up to it; and his tongue was hangin' out.

I asked the cute little vet tech standing nearby what was wrong with it; she lifted up a large garbage bag from the sink and said "We took this out of him".

The plastic trash bag looked like it had an oversized basketball in it - only there were extra chunks and vein-looking things all over it, I could see them through the plastic. It was horrid looking & I couldn't believe something so large could actually fit into a dog.

As the tech was holding it up & pointing out the veiny looking things on the tumor, the bottom gave out. It fell into the sink & exploded - pieces parts flew everywhere.

It's hard to keep balance on a ladder with your hands in the air while wearing tumor juice.

Rick is camping, M0rd is bungee jumping in reverse, Axe is soaking in Crisco, LG may still be recovering from food poisoning, MP is knitting a sweater from her dog trimmings, …….and It’s summer.

A sabbatical is always beneficial.
Just not one that’s too lengthy.
Unhook, venture, enjoy, comeback, tell tales.
