(Ok we'll get the voting started) (as we don't think there will be any more submission) (we have 1 person in mind each) (I though Sho, the simplicity from that poster that also garnered such a demotivational spin is quite great) (and i though Steve, the picture just goes so well the the text, which was in fact hilarious) (so after many an hour of deliberation we came to the vote of..............................Steve)

my vote goes to gas... touching little poem!

I think Gary has made a funny poster, and I liked also steve's poster... I'm tempted to split the vote, but I don't like half measures... all or nothing baby.

So my vote goes to Gary...

THE RULES
1. One picture, one winner. ONLY the winner's poster is submitted to Motifake.
2. Posters must be submitted ON or BEFORE Friday. Votes must be submitted ON or BEFORE Saturday.
3. The winner will be announced on Sunday and is required to post a new picture.
It's nice to be important, but is more important to be nice.

So much nice & funny posters this week... but my vote goes for Bull. I like how he made a poster based not only on what the image inspired him but also on the details (the giant planet about to collision , the colors..). And I love this kind of laconic humor :) .
I know about people who talk about suffering for the common good. It's never bloody them! When you hear a man shouting "Forward, brave comrades!" you'll see he's the one behind the bloody big rock and the one wearing the only really arrow-proof helmet

I think the prettiest poster is the one made by gas. The border disappearing into the hills... the whole thing is beautiful. I'm not familiar with the quote, but it's great and deep. I would give this poster 5L in a heartbeat. (I'd give all these posters 5L for that matter.)

That said, I'm going to vote for Bull.
His poster is clever and... I want to say bittersweet, but that's not quite right... fatalistic yet funny?
I'm not coming up with the right words, but the reason he gets my vote instead of gas is he used his own words. I have no problem with anyone using a quote on their posters. I just think writing an original caption deserves the edge in such a close contest.

Excellent posters everyone.

Spacedog all the way.

I like the ones that sneak up on you.

I'm worried though that a lot of excellent posters are being lost to the site because only the winner gets posted. I can't see a way around that, but I'll be thinking about it.

I go for Gary... The little things usually go well with me... (This does not reflect well on the size of my... Never mind...)

Anyways, I mean to say that I get a nice mental image when I read that poster... And the picture somehow complements it perfectly... And the addition of the surreal nonproportional (fake word, by the way) planets in the back combined with a little campfire whispering away amongst it all... It's just damn beautiful... To me...

So there...:

Gas: 1
Steve: 1
Spacedog: 1
Gary: 2
Bull: 2

Once again... Amazing posters all-round...

Congrats to Greeny for a great subject, and damn, what talent displayed.
‘the soup that got away’
‘is that tree happy to see me?’
And the ‘Fathom’ format
And the others that reach beyond my capacity for depth of sensitive feeling
But Steve’s need to ‘be away’ still does it for me
