wishes gone wrong [game]

Postby davidbowie » Sat Jun 30, 2012 10:06 pm

So here you post a wish, then the next poster grants the wish but puts a bad twist on it. After that he posts his/her wish and so on. :stirpot: :witch:
here is an example

That's a great game!

Ok, you have all the time in the world.. that is, the time that actually exists in the world, so to have this time you have to borrow it from other people killing them.

I wish I was forever young.
I know about people who talk about suffering for the common good. It's never bloody them! When you hear a man shouting "Forward, brave comrades!" you'll see he's the one behind the bloody big rock and the one wearing the only really arrow-proof helmet

and you watched generation after generation of your friends grow old, wither and die....

I wish I knew everything there is to know ...

And you realise that you know nothing as well... Meaning everything you know is a lie...

I wish I could control time around me...

You can control time, but only to go 1000 years forward each time.

I wish I could teleport where I wanted

You can teleport, but you always end up naked and itchy.

I wish I could control the weather.

You can control the weather but are continually hunted as the despised mutant you are. Oh and you'll never be as universally popular as Thor.

I wish for more wishes of course. How could that go wrong?

More wishes draws ‘friends’ of which of course have requests, and you’re so bombarded your next wish is for no more wishes

I wish for everlasting contentment

you are sent to a dimension where you get everything you ever wanted and you are the most popular person on the planet eventually you are driven to suicide after realizing you get no joy out of your possesions and can't return to your old life

i wish for world peace

A rebuttal;
My contentment would not be aimed at things or popularity, quite the contrary…..

But on with the game (good game, BTW, David)

World peace would ruin the economy, resulting in the entire planet becoming third world status (could be an obscure quote by Hitler)

I wish for the hearing in my right ear to come back, or at least for my tinnitus to sound more like the ocean
