agreed. Timeout just teaches kids to do the crime, do the time, then go out and play. A major contribution to recidivism

If any of us here pulled half the crap the kids today pull on their parents... need I say what our punishment would be? Back then it was called, "straightening out." Today it's called "child abuse." Rubbish, I say.
So true!
Though I do kinda wish we had "time outs" as a kid, but back then parents knew exactly waht we would be doing as we just sit and think bout what we did...we would plan how not to get caught next time
