It's to keep childish drunks from stuffing the whole roll down the toilet to block it. Some of them get that way after the forty-seventh rejection the same night.

Well said Sean. Like all wars, this is an economic one. The west has money and power, and they don't like that one bit. If it wasn't muslims vs. "heathens", it'd be arabs vs. europeans, or shirts vs. skins. People always find reasons to fight.
