Sunset Message

The MotiNetwork will cease to exist March 31st, 2018
Google has done a wonderful job pulling the plug on all of our traffic, and at this point, the sites cost more to run in server resources than the income they bring in. Its been a hell of 10 year ride, but the time has come to sunset the network.

While I agree with the sentiment, this is often wrongly attributed to Cicero as it appears in a novel on Cicero's life by Taylor Caldwell. None of this, however, has been found in any of Cicero's writings.
Titus Pullo - June 22, 2009, 7:28 pm
Cicero. Where do I start? First Man in Rome or classic whiner? I say a little of both.
Mark - February 12, 2009, 10:59 am
Ah yes...Beautiful Cicero, IL. The only town that could make Chicago politicians look honest. It's a great place to party.
Scorpio7 - February 12, 2009, 8:11 am
Not only do I doubt that they have, Mark, I bet MOST of them don't know who Cicero was, other than Porky Pig's nephew, or an Illinois community.
Mark - February 11, 2009, 6:42 pm
Do you think any of our Senators or Congressmen have ever heard this quote?

Note to self: Check to make sure Amelia is still in her cage...
Elder God Douchebag - February 11, 2009, 11:32 pm
Well, yeah.
Mark - February 11, 2009, 10:25 pm
d*** politicians....they'll promise anything while they're campaigning.
Toussaint - February 11, 2009, 10:22 pm
I stand corrected. The Omniscient One will abolish war, famine and fine Amelia Earhart.
Mark - February 11, 2009, 10:19 pm
I think both of you are jumping to conclusions. What makes you think they ever played military video games? And if they did...whose side were they on?
Elder God Douchebag - February 11, 2009, 10:16 pm
I count video games.
Toussaint - February 11, 2009, 10:14 pm
And with obama in office, he and Clinton make two out of three presidents serving as Commander-in-Chiefs with NO military experience. (Unless you count video games)
Mark - February 11, 2009, 7:09 pm
Sean. - Don't go! Everyone is allowed to be cranky once in a while. This is the place for it.

Haha, TF2 quotes. "Professionals have standards. Be polite. Be efficient. Have a plan to kill everyone you meet."
Purity - March 25, 2009, 9:24 am
Snipers scare the crap out of me 'cause they could take me out without ever knowing they're there... If it's not a sniper I've at least got a good chance of f***ing them up first. That's why if SHTF my plan is always to snipe small groups and steal.
Culos - February 12, 2009, 8:51 am
A CNN reporter while interviewing a Marine sniper asked: "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?" The Marine shrugged and replied "Recoil".

Was there something wrong with the solid rubber tires?
Hector - February 11, 2009, 11:08 am
I first saw this as part of a series on, "Why women live longer than men."
WTF - February 11, 2009, 10:54 am
Well, you'll just have to forgive me as I searched tag words like "bomb" and "fork" and "forklift" and saw no motifake using this picture.
agdaniele - February 10, 2009, 7:51 pm
Motifake #6699 did it right. Already. Using "fail" in this instance is an easy way to say "I have nothing creative for this picture."
Scorpio7 - February 10, 2009, 6:52 pm
What's worse, is that's a BOMB, and that ph**o was taken at the old Rocky Mountain Arsenal, near Denver, Colorado.
