I'm married to a vet with PTSD. I also spent about 20 years as a police officer and deputy sheriff down on the Mexican border in southern California. We both have our demons. Thank you for your kind comments.

Beautiful words. I remember, years ago, we took my late Grandad on holiday to Germany. In Cologne he laughed when he saw a bridge he remembered throwing a couple of German soldiers off of during WWII. God knows what else he remembered but never spoke off.
