Aggy is half Italian and half German. "You're the goods" is old Italian American ghetto slang for "You're the best", and "My friend" is because he is. It's in German because I'm half German half French, so that is something we have in common.

Right, thanks a lot. I must confess to my utter and complete ignorance of Italian-Slang the German just didn't read very idiomatic to me. P.S. I think I might try one of these some day.

"Du bist der Größte/Beste, mein Freund" would be right German, but the Italian-American is probably untranslatable. So perhaps the "wrong" German fits perfect...

I needed some time to understand that poster (full german) maybe the slang "You're the goods" is translated misleading in a funny way. But altogether it looks fitting & brilliant acording to Bone what does the stuff in brackets mean?
