| Since none of the equation is in ( ) the answer is 3. This is one of those that you do left to right. 9-5 = 4 4+ 5 = 9 9 x 0 = 0 0 + 3 = 3 |

| RonE (and repooc) is correct. Without parenthesis, the multiplication (and division if any) operations are performed first, addition and subtraction last. Zero trays of cookies times any number of cookies per tray is still zero cookies. |
