This one's easy. If you compare the Star Destroyer to an Air Craft Carrier then the Enterprise would be the size of a Volks Wagon Bug. The Star Destroyer would only have to run into the Enterprise to win. No sh**s fired. Bug on windshield.
Mark - March 24, 2009, 9:31 am, #67544
I disagree. The Starship Enterprise is real whereas the Star Destroyer is fictional.
Toussaint - March 24, 2009, 12:10 pm, #67575
The Enterprise has shield, weaponry and the maneuverability.
Marduke - March 24, 2009, 2:30 pm, #67628
The Star Destroyer has at least shields and better weapons, besides Vader would kick Kirk's a**.
Mark - March 24, 2009, 2:47 pm, #67636
Marduke - Gimme a break. No one kicks Captain Kirk's a**. He always wins eventually. Darth Vader was a Liberal Democrat control freak that let his kids (Luke and Leia) enter into an inc***uous relationship.
Marduke - March 24, 2009, 3:52 pm, #67651
Mark, I wasn't going to go there, so if you must know, Darth Vader was obviously a right wing, bible thumping conservative from the south, hence the tyranny & the inc***. But he did turn to the good side (Liberal) just before he died + Kirk's a pu
Cubbybear - March 24, 2009, 4:02 pm, #67655
The Enterprise has Ph**on torp***es...'NUFF SAID!
BuZZbomb - March 24, 2009, 4:19 pm, #67659
Who would win? While all of you debate this, I'm going to have ***!
Sean - March 24, 2009, 4:40 pm, #67667
d***. I wish I could have ***. But anywho ... here's what I don't get: whenever two or more space ships meet up in outer space, and kinda have a battle or something, they always have the same "up".
LogicDude - March 24, 2009, 4:58 pm, #67673
They could do a barrel roll!!!
Mark - March 24, 2009, 8:01 pm, #67736
Marduke - No way! No tag backs! I said he was a Liberal first. Darth was very anti-bible and as for tyranny we only need look to Pennsylvania Avenue now. Kirk a punk? I'll now play the anti-semite card. You're just picking on him because he's Jewish.
gawd - March 24, 2009, 8:05 pm, #67737
while vaders a nazi kurks f***ed
ThePirate - March 24, 2009, 8:07 pm, #67738
Denny Crane has never lost
Mark - March 24, 2009, 8:10 pm, #67739
Thank You Mr. Pirate. I rest my case.
Drenix - March 26, 2009, 3:33 am, #68109
Ozzie may play dead.
Zephyram - March 27, 2009, 8:59 am, #68392
Obviously the advantage in both firepower and maneuverability goes to the Enterprise NCC1701D Hands down, not to mention advanced shielding. The lasers and projectile weapons on the star destroyer, would be like a pikeman taking on an M1 tank
Danny - March 27, 2009, 11:12 am, #68426
This one is SO easy - none of them will win. Lone Starr will come in his Winnebago and kick both their a**es!
LogicDude - March 27, 2009, 11:17 am, #68427
He'll use the Schwartz!!!
Motifake Wit Liberation Front - March 27, 2009, 8:40 pm, #68540
The Enterprise will win. The Enterprise works on science, while the star destroyer works on bureaucracy and magic, neither of which actually do anything. Besides, if it's the original, they have Spock, if Next Generation, they have Data. Suck it, Vader
me - May 11, 2009, 11:57 pm, #79560
I think the star destroyer would win because those bad boys were built for firepower and kickin a** where as the enterprise was designed for exploration, even with the enterprises strong defensive weapons, the star destroyer would win.
me - May 11, 2009, 11:57 pm, #79561
besides the star destroyer has the name destroyer in its name, obviously thats not for nothing
Baron von Tofurkey - May 20, 2009, 4:08 pm, #81156
ISN star destroyer possesses stronger weapons systems as mentioned, more efficient deflection systems, and anti matter projectors. Love the Big E, but she would lose badly in a head to head firefight, from a purely tactical perspective.
LogicDude - May 21, 2009, 6:40 am, #81290
Ahhhh, but just as Kirk is snaeky and will figure out how to beat it just like he figured out a way to win the "Kobayashi Maru" scenario at the Academy! AND he'll also get laid while doing it.
ansteve1 - June 1, 2009, 5:37 pm, #83656
didnt he reprogram the test? btw lets see vader take on the borg
Phelps - July 15, 2009, 2:18 am, #95694
Riker clearly stated in an episode that lasers of any kind couldn't even penetrate the navigation hull, even if they somehow got past the shields. And Q would never let his favorite captain die at the hands of a worthless enemy.
Agent K - July 20, 2009, 1:45 pm, #97401
ansteve Vader would decimate the borg
Logic Man - August 3, 2009, 10:25 am, #104205
Vader would beat the borg, but Riker and I would destroy vader's empire!
Derek - September 30, 2009, 3:54 pm, #122982
The Federation have much better record
snow - October 2, 2009, 10:52 pm, #123499
i would think that the star destroyer would ra** that ship any day
BongoBongo - November 4, 2009, 3:41 pm, #134094
The empire would call in the super-class star destroyers. game over
Me - November 5, 2009, 11:18 am, #134372
The federation. They always win and the empire always loses.
Zed - December 4, 2009, 5:20 am, #142428
It's a "Sat Destroyer" in that it's a Destroyer that is also a Starship, not that it destroys stars. A destroyer is a class of Naval vessel, idiot.
Zed - December 4, 2009, 5:21 am, #142429
Sorry, "Star Destroyer", not "Sat Destroyer". Typo.
Spangle - December 7, 2009, 8:50 pm, #143609
Am I the only one who reckons it looks more like Voyager?
Gladius - December 26, 2009, 4:38 am, #148143
"Zed - December 4, 2009, 5:20 am It's a "Sat Destroyer" in that it's a Destroyer that is also a Starship, not that it destroys stars. A destroyer is a cla*s of Naval vessel, idiot." Comedy. A situation resulting when a fool calls someone an idiot. Lolol
Zed - December 26, 2009, 2:50 pm, #148185
In the words of Bugs Bunny: "Shaddup, Timmie".
bubbalou - January 3, 2010, 7:17 am, #149716
I know exactly who would win and the answer is quite obvious, if you think about it: Bruce Campbell. "The good, the bad... I'm the guy with the gun."
Bartimaeus - January 3, 2010, 10:30 am, #149726
There's no need to bicker, my fellow nerds, for we can all find common ground here. We can all agree that both vessels are equally inferior to Gundams.
Zed - January 3, 2010, 1:25 pm, #149772
Dunno, I preferred the Space Battleship Yamato over the Gundams.
Bartimaeus - January 3, 2010, 2:01 pm, #149788
lol, great reference. In Wing, though, one sh** from a Gundam could take out a whole d*** space colony. Quatre did it. They were a tad overpowered in that series. lol
urzaknight - January 7, 2010, 10:00 am, #150904
Star Wars is the winner
scott denny - January 7, 2010, 10:48 am, #150911
Ph**on torp***es. Kirk and Picard would murder Vader and Maul where they stand.
scott denny - January 7, 2010, 11:18 am, #150919
Star Wars needs a ship the size of a small planet, to destroy a planet. Star Trek : Just needed one Romulan civilian mining ship and a single drop of Red Matter. Yeah, Suck it.
Preacher Man - January 8, 2010, 12:19 pm, #151151
What would really happen? While they were both distracted with fighting, Mal Reynolds would fly Serenity in and rob them both blind.
scott denny - January 8, 2010, 3:24 pm, #151188
Or while they where charging their weapons to engage, Chuck Norris would just kick through both ships. Then Jason Statham would destroy Chuck. Logical outcome.
- November 10, 2010, 7:59 pm, #202301
weve also got a little fighter sized thing that can destroy suns, so WHAT NOW! also WHOS GOT THE JEDI?
Titanpb - April 3, 2011, 11:48 am, #215688
star trek < star wars
stinger360 - July 31, 2012, 2:50 pm, #237919
Uh, not to be a*** here, but that isn't Kirk's ship, it's Picard's....who would lose.
steve1961 - July 31, 2012, 9:00 pm, #237932
If it came down to troops, it would be a draw. The red shirts are more vulnerable than kittens in an iron lung while the stormtroopers couldn't hit the broad side of a death star.
