The Air Farce is currently field testing Air to Ground Laser systems. Currently mounted on modified C-4's or 747's. Unfortunately the beams are transparent. While, OMG what happened to achmed is cool, Huge Red beams of light are so much cooler.

yea but the Nazi's bendy guns weren't very practical as the bullet shattered at the bend the israeli bendy guns don't have that problem and look way cooler plus the whole camera feed to an eyepiece is slightly better than a mirror...maybe..I'm just sayin.

Actually the mail purpose of the bendy guns was to stick them out a tank hatch and hose all the pesky russians off. The shattered bullet had kindof a sh**gun effect-so it actually worked, sortof.

the barrel does not need to be changed every clip. theres a handgun attatched to the end of the bend that is hooked to a camera. its no different than pulling the trigger with your hand. just a machine doing it at the end of the bend. -US Navy-

The StG44 (SturmGewehr) was never supposed to be made. Hitler wanted Machine Pistols like the MP40. He didn't want rifles made as he considered them a waste. The "bent barrel" was a modification for the MP44 as the short round would "bend" better
